Easy Baked Donuts

Did you know our mixes can be used to make donuts!?! Yes, that’s right and they are so good and, just like our mixes, they are super easy to make and taste delicious! We’re sharing our how-to at the end of this post.

Using a donut pan you can create your choice of donut flavors. We love glazed and have also made these with cinnamon sugar and powered sugar a top as well.

I like to use a piping bag to pour the batter into the donut pan but you can also use a ziplock bag or spoon. Just cut a hole in one corner and pipe the batter into the pan.

Be careful when filling the donut pans. You don’t want to overfill the pan cavities or the holes in the middle will close up. 

After donuts are baked and cooled you then dip in a thick vanilla or chocolate glaze and your choice of toppings – frosting, sprinkles, and mini chocolate chips work great!

Be sure to allow the glaze to set at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes before stacking or serving.

These make a great breakfast treat or delicious snack at any time of day. They are best when eaten the same day but can be covered and stored at room temperature up to 2 days.

    Awesome donuts! My daughter and I made them today (vanilla cake mix and chocolate frosting). The taste and texture are so spot on you could not tell they were allergen free.
