Mom Self-Care Tips

This week we’re talking about Back-to-School Week here at Kate’s Safe and Sweet! Today we are sharing some self-tips for the Moms out there. Many of us are always so busy taking care of everybody else we forget to take care of ourselves.

The last five months have been very different for many of us and with the start of school this path of things being different and most likely more challenging is set to continue.

After reading some articles about Moms taking on even more this year (for instance some have taken on the task of homeschooling their children while holding down a full-time job). And in doing so many women are pushing their self-care to the side. Whether it’s to wake up early or stay up late to work, or not having someone to look after the kids, Moms may be feeling more pressure.

As the demands and pressures increase, the importance of self-care also does.

Self-care is something that many of us need to be reminded of. Myself included. And self-care can look different for all of us. Taking care of yourself is not selfish.

Below are some tips and ideas for self care that I am working on embracing and others are from some of the Moms in my community who share about self-care and how to make it a priority. Sometimes we just need some ideas and that’s what I’m hoping this helps you with.
