We are big fans of fresh summer peaches and while in abundance this summer we decided to make some delicious cobbler with them. This recipe is super easy to make and would be great to serve at a party, with or without your favorite ice cream on top!
This recipe is top 14 allergen free, gluten free and vegan.
The first step to making these is to gather all your ingredients and supplies.
Easy Peach Cobbler
Makes 8-12 servings.
Tools Needed:
- Knife/Peeler
- 1.5 quart Casserole Dish
- Two Mixing Bowls
- Liquid Measuring Cup
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Spoon
Ingredients Needed:
- 5 medium sized peaches (peeled and cut into thin slices)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided use)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup (your safe) stick butter
- 1 cup Kate’s Safe & Sweet All-Purpose Flour (124 grams)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (your safe) milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine the peaches, ½ cup of the sugar, cinnamon, salt and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Add the butter to a 1.5-quart baking dish. Place the dish in the oven while it preheats to melt the butter.
- Cook peaches over medium heat along with 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, salt and lemon juice.
- In a medium bowl whisk together flour, 1/2 cups sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a liquid measuring cup, measure milk and then stir in vanilla extract.
- Add wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix together well.
- When the oven is preheated and the butter has melted, pour the cake batter over the butter in the pan. Do not stir.
- Spoon the peaches and juice on top of the cake batter.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden, bubbly, and the top springs back when pressed lightly.

Let cool slightly before serving.
Peach cobbler is delicious served with your favorite (vanilla is the best on this!) scoop of ice cream on top.
If fresh peaches are out of season, consider using frozen sliced peaches instead. If you use frozen peaches, do not thaw them before you start making the recipe.
TO STORE: Refrigerate cobbler in an airtight storage container for up to 4 days.
TO REHEAT: Rewarm leftovers in a baking dish in the oven at 350 degrees F or in the microwave.
TO FREEZE: Freeze cobbler in an airtight freezer-safe storage container for up to 3 months. Let thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
